Provincial Championships 2011The provincial championships were held before the SA Championships. However the medals were not awarded. We are having a special Awards Ceremony at Pilditch on Saturday the 9th of July. The event will begin at 1pm with a 200 lap ride - this is not a race and will not be judged! The Racing season starts again on Wednesday the 7th of September. The Introductory Racing Series kicks off on the 17th of October and will close off on the 7th of December with a night of Bike Hockey and Awards! Races will be held on Wednesday Evenings from seven o'clock at Pilditch Stadium. Please check the calendar for details. Rain/cancellation decisions will be posted on FaceBook by 6:30 pm. Volunteers are always needed to help with: - Laps/Bells from 6:45 to finish of racing - Taking photos and posting to FaceBook from 6 pm - General assistance from 6 pm until everything is packed away after racing... Please let us know if you or a friend/family member can help. Races will be held for A, B and C categories. There will be three races per category, a short sprint type event, a mixed type event somewhere between sprint and endurance and a longer endurance event. |
