Commissaires

All races held by the Province or its affiliate clubs are held under CSA and UCI rules.

It is the riders' responsibility to know the rules pertaining to the race on the day; ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as an excuse.

Managers Meetings

A managers meeting will usually be held 30 minutes before the official start of racing, however it is the manager's responsibility to find out where and when this meeting will be held. If a manager does not attend the meeting he will not be permitted to act as manager at that race. All managers must report to the race commissaire presiding over the race category their riders will be participating in. Managers must carry their licenses with them and may be asked to produce their license at any time.

Gear Restrictions for Juniors

A briefing on bike checks will be given at the managers meeting.

Junior riders may be asked to present their bike for bike check at any time.

  1. rolled backward in a straight line
  2. in it's biggest chainring and smallest sprocket (i.e. no blocked off gears)
  3. within the distance designated for the age group.

Designated roll-out distances for the different age groups:

Junior 7.930 m
Under 16 6.897 m
Under 14 6.626 m
